The secret to making low calorie recipes 🤫
If you ever wondered how people make low calorie recipes, then here's my process on how you can turn ANY recipe into a calorie friendly one on MyFitnessPal:
1. Download MyFitnessPal through the App Store / Play Store or with the link in my bio 🔗
2. Once you have decided what you want to make, open MyFitnessPal and go to "More" → "My Meals, Recipes & Foods" → "Create a Recipe".
3. Follow the prompts and input all of the ingredients that make up the recipe.
4. From there, MyFitnessPal will automatically divide the calories and macros based on how many servings you entered. Now you essentially have a calorie friendly recipe that you just have to cook and divide accordingly!
5. To take it to the next level, go back to the ingredients and look at what you can subsitute to save you calories.
As you start learning more about the nutritional values of foods through calorie tracking, you'll start to build a better understanding of things you can substitute and things you don't need to track!
