Power efficiency seems fine for the performance, but it's not worth buying yet for the price.

Still happy with my 5900X, 6800XT and very good DDR4-RAM. I can still live with 144 FPS on UWQHD and till now the AM5 platform is not worth it to me. Maybe with ZEN6X3D it will be worth a complete system upgrade but no need for a rush.

They already released the 9700 non X because of the 65W TDP of the 9700X. A 9700X should be a 95 to 125 watt part.
