Is my signal booster working? How much is my signal being boosted? Those are a few questions you may be asking yourself.

Did you know that there's no standard for what a signal bar on your phone means? You may get 2 bars on one phone and 4 on another and they're getting the exact same signal. So if you install you signal booster and don't see the signal bars move or they only move a bar or two that doesn't mean it isn't working.

We'll cover how to test the signal in your home with an accurate method so you'll know exactly what your signal levels are. We'll also cover tools to help you with this task.

When your signal jumps up a few dBs (don't worry we cover what that means too) it doesn't seem like a lot. But just a 30 dB jump means your cell signal is now 1,000 times stronger. with a 40 dB jump it goes up to 10,000! That's quite an improvement.

So the outside antenna wire seems compromised and i don’t seem to get any benefit with the booster turned on. When I use an ohm meter on the antenna wire tip I get no reading. Should I get a reading between the center of the wire plug and the outside?

With the booster on, you can show a really good dBm, and still not be getting service. The dBm reading must be from the weboost, not the tower.

I received the RV set up, I get -115 at 3 meter from the inside antenna, -119 from a room, maybe 4 meters with walls, and -85 with the phone just in front of the antenna. Anyway to boost this? I thought I got a booster.

So I bought the 4g-x and I am only getting an average boost of -10db difference. Is this except able or is something wrong?

OK I have a great question, what about my drive 4GX – OTR when I turn the booster on, and it has a solid green light, my signal drops according to the bars. What in the world does that mean. It's doing exactly the opposite of what I think it supposed to do am I wrong? I just bought this thing not even a week ago and are having very mixed results.

We are using network expert 800 mhz 70db signal amplifier but it is not spredding the signal in indoor antenna what to do??

I was using a wilson signalboost dt desktop cell phone booster and it was good for about a 10 ft radius. I now purchased a weeboost that covers 5000 square feet the bars are all green and it will only give me the range inside my house and near the antenna like the other one. i thought i would of gotten way better distance with this one . Can someone give me pointers of why this is happening to me thank you

I just set this weBoost 4G -Model 470103 up and I still get no phone calls or can not call out. I paid so much money for it and still the same db strength signal inside. I at least can call when walking outside in the frigid cold but can not call from inside. I thought this was a booster. Not getting a boost at all. Frustrated to say the least!!
