Family members are the least likely to recognize if you have a mental disorder. If you have depression they are not the ones who will notice your problems for you generally.

I had a friend who was diagnosed a sociopath. He would lie about even the smallest things. He did something bad that made me pull away from him. And I never contacted him again. But all im saying is that this guy could be lying.

“How was your childhood?” He is a sociopath so, probably not great. While psychopaths are born that way, sociopaths are shaped by their environment. EX: “abuse at an early age”

This is what’s scary about the human mind tho. I masked for my family almost my entire childhood cause I knew if I didn’t that they wouldn’t except me, low and behold as I got older and really started to take off the mask and express who I truly was, the love shrunk and almost became non existent because they didn’t recognize the person I was, even tho that person wasn’t who I truly was at all it was who they wanted me to be.

How does one even get diagnosed, do they notice their different behaviour compared to the rest and go get themselves tested ?

Why you all would believe anything anyone diagnosed with ASPD has to say is beyond me, let alone one who wants to be filmed. Anyone whose at a high enough level to have it be noticed and diagnosed and who is also seeking an audience is bad news and looking to manipulate you.

There is no clinical sociopathy, so what are you actually talking about?
