Black Myth Wukong's Physical Editions Will Not Come With a Disc😡

Black Myth: Wukong is now up for pre-order, including its planned physical and collector's editions. But it looks like none of the physical editions will actually include a physical edition. It's just a code in a box.

Today, alongside a new trailer shown at Summer Game Fest, developer Game Science put Black Myth: Wukong up for preorder and shared some details about how those preorders and physical editions will work. According to the developer, both the physical Deluxe and Collector's Editions will come with digital activation codes for the Digital Deluxe edition of the game, but will not have a disc.

In an FAQ, Game Science explained that this was due to limitations on resources, but said it was looking into releasing discs in the future.

It is the first time for Game Science to release a console game globally, and we are currently facing limitations in offline resources required for the import, export, transportation, distribution, and sales of physical discs. These factors have made it difficult for us to sell physical discs simultaneously with the official release of the game.
Our publishing team is actively working on resolving these issues and exploring options to offer physical discs.

Aw man. Was looking like crazy for the regular standard disc to preorder, and now i know there aren't any. Hope they figure that out soon and produce them in the future for this game.

Do not Buy It. if you do you are showing Sony and every other developer that you are okay with digital. Don't buy it, when they loose revenue, they will need to release a physical copy.

Some guy said that I sounded paranoid because I was complaining on another video showing off the game and I said the same thing you said I don't like digital DL code games and I'm just gonna buy Phantom Blade Zero instead and hopefully get Black Myth Wukong later if it goes to disc. He says I should get with the time's because a lot of games are going to be put as Digital DL Games, I told him I've been with the time's since 74 and I'm teaching my older generation who are alive how to use a tv remote&learn about streaming channels but just like these Wi-Fi games when the Wi-Fi isn't working right or you don't have any at your house, friend's or somewhere else you can't watch or play your game's ☹️😠. Dvds&game cartridges&Disc are better and these game companies are going to lose a lot of business along with places that sell physical new&used game's witch I still buy. I agree with you Bro, keep collecting physical game's👍😊
