5:00 To add a bit of context, the scroll is referencing the Chinese novel Journey to the West where Wukong, Bajie(pig), Sanzang(buddist monk), and Wujing (Demon) travel together to get sacred texts. The story is kind of like an odyssey/adventure story with our characters atoning for their sins along their journey. I believe the story had it's english adaptation during the 70s though not 100% sure

The scroll is basically depiction of "journey to the west".. but before that happen.. the story of Wukong, basically trying to become immortal, attempt to become a sage, went on rampage in heaven when they wronged him( or think he was wronged), and then Buddha burried him under his palm, for how many year i forgot, as punishment... until the monk in red robe was born, free him because Chinese goddess name Guan Yin tell him so. The game you are playing right now I think it's take place during at a time when wukong is about to go on a rampage, and start a rebellion against Jade Palace. idk, most of these is me being asian, and watching the 1986 series, which was very popular in many asian country even to this day. Not sure on this thesis, because i haven't play it yet... But dude... i was going to buy that collector edition too but to only realized it's 400 dollars, and i was wondering how that figurine would look like.
