List of all models shown in this #AT_New_Cars release:

00:00 Introduction

00:40 Ford Maverick

Built over the Bronco Sport monocoque, the 2022 Ford Maverick weighs 3 and a half thousand pounds and barely reaches 200 inches in length. The truck is offered in three trim levels and 2 powertrain choices: a 2.5L full hybrid with 191 horses, a CVT and a FWD, or an optional 250 horsepower 2L Ecoboost with an 8-speed automatic and available AWD.

01:50 Nissan Frontier

The previous generation Frontier AKA Navara was considered ancient ten years ago, but its new, third generation, was developed with the North American buyer in mind and is expected to mend the reputation of the model.

02:57 Isuzu D-Max

The current generation Isuzu D-Max was introduced back in 2019, and it has already made its way to many international markets, including the UK and Australia. The model is closely related to the MU-X SUV and starting from 2020, it also lends its underpinning to the Mazda BT-50 truck.

04:14 Hyundai Santa Cruz

2021 Hyundai Santa Cruz is the brand’s first pickup truck, that has unibody construction and shares underpinnings with the new Tucson. It offers 4 trims, with the base ones powered by a 2.5l direct injected 4-cylinder with 190 horsepower, 180-pound feet, 8-speed automatic gearbox, and available AWD.

05:26 Toyota Hilux

Through the years Toyota Hilux has gained the reputation of invincibility, but after the latest facelift its credentials also include a more advanced technological package and a handsome front.

06:29 Chevrolet Colorado

For those fans of GM trucks who are shopping in the affordable segment, we decided to feature the recently refreshed Chevy Colorado. Its lineup includes 3 body styles and 4 trims, from the entry-level WT, the mid-ground LT and Z71, to the off-road ready ZR2.

07:32 Fiat Toro

Though you probably have not heard about it, Fiat actually has a pick-truck in its range since 2016. This year, the Fiat Toro gets a comprehensive refresh, both under the hood and inside the cabin.

08:43 Mitsubishi L200 Triton and Triton Sport

Though not sold in the US, Mitsubishi L200 is definitely a compelling affordable pickup truck for the developing countries. It was refreshed in 2020 with a new front fascia and a revised set of trims.

09:46 Ford Ranger

While the fully-loaded Ranger nears a 50k margin, most customers can easily get away with the entry-level version of the truck, that costs almost 2 times less. Like the rest of the North American range, the bas Ford Ranger offers 8.4 inches of ground clearance and packs a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder.

10:45 Ssang Yong Musso

Offered in 2 sizes, this Sourth Korean pickup tries to put up a good fight in the segment, with revised exterior design, decent utility skills, and unmatched 7-years unlimited warranty. The regular SsangYong Musso is good for 1738lbs of payload, while the extended wheelbase, Grand offers to carry 2,255 lbs.

11:51 Toyota Tacoma

Tacoma’s solid reliability rating, great resale value and handsome looks continuously earn it America’s best-selling mid-size pickup. Manufactured in Mexico and the US, the model gets 6 trim levels starting with the SR and going up to the off-road focused TRD Pro.

The number of pickup truck sold annually is constantly growing but besides this tendency, many consumers have noticed that the price for this type of vehicles is growing too. Are there any affordable models out there though? We have done a complete analysis of the American and international markets to answer this question. Which of these trucks is your favorite?

I believe the Maverick will be a huge success for Ford. Good to see smaller trucks starting to make a come back. No doubt they have their uses.

I was Googling The Best Small Pickup Trucks, and up popped your video. Thank you so much, this is really informative, and I loved that you put a synopsis of all the models you reviewed in the description box. The Ford Maverick and the Fiat Toro are my favorites. Thanks again, I've liked and subscribed, and I'll be back to watch your other videos; I'm especially looking forward to watching a video of the cheapest small cars, if you have one. 😏

Considering the high price of pickups in the States, there is definitely a market for these. At these prices, it's time for you guys to start selling here!

Ford Maverick looks nice but i wish the rear seats could be removable so the truck bed could be extended if needed. Nice video, thank you! :)

In the UK I am looking at buying a new DMAX as the L200 I wanted to buy has now been stopped in the UK to buy new and I have got nothing but BS from Subaru about their new pick up ! Thank you for the video thumbs up and shared.

The Santa Cruz is nice but way too expensive for its size/category. I was expecting a much lower price for the high end limited model. How much more if they come out with a hybrid model which surely will be far more expensive.

Big question! Where is the spare tire? Nobody show. Why? In other cars even the Ridgeliner, you could see it?

I love the Ford's. The Fiat Toro Front Clip is Kool also. The only reason I love Ford's is all these trucks took Ford's design of the Ranger and Maverick. Just used a different front end to call it their Truck.

The Maverick is honestly the mythological good looking mullet of the car world.
Does the work of a truck but with better fuel economy than most sedans on the market. Long story short I want 1 and it's not just a pipe dream, like my owning a '67 mustang is.

If the Maverick has that price of $20, 000 usd here in Mexico and the Great Wall and Santa Cruz arrive, it will be fierce competition for the Colorado and the Frontier

Toyota Tacoma is definitely worth buying. Followed by Ford Ranger and Chevrolet Colorado. Maverick looks best among lowest sticker price, but front wheel drive come on Ford. Nissan Frontier holds reasonable value purchase too. Hyundai still going with 90s bubble veggie with front that looks as it got punched in mouth and teeth broken by Superman 😂 Hilux is probably the best non US along with Mitsubishi pickups. Good Presentation 😎👍

Nissan is by far the best pickup among those presented, the value for money is the best
