Depending on what you have. Swell hell is REAL so stay hydrated! I’m 5 weeks post op, and I’m still retaining water in my lower extremities… stay hydrated, compressed, and lymphatic massages are KEY! Hope this helps.

Thank for this. I am 4 months post op and I still have to wear sneakers to work every day or I will have major swelling. Compression socks are key. I can't wait to wear sandals again. I can do anything for one year!

Hello Doctor, I'm from India. I have done my Circumcision Surgery. At the area of the stitches swelling takes place. It's been 5-6 weeks, but swelling is still there. My doctor told me swelling goes down, but he don't tell me, how much duration it takes place to swelling goes down.

So In my case, Is it normal?
Or I have to visit any other doctor.

Hi Doctor, I have done by PMMC flap surgery a month back and I have been told by my surgeon Swelling on your chick will come down by three to four months and within in a month of time I am noticing that swelling has come down at my chick, but at corner of my lips swelling is coming down very slowly can you pls help me to understand within 3 to 4 months can I notice swelling to come down near corner of my lips as well, like I have noticing at my chick
