I'll be honest with ya, I was expecting something else.
I mean, Darth Vader as Anakin was once a slave and had dealt with these guys before - strongly disliking the slaving business. As a Jedi Anakin had already some trouble keeping himself relatively controlled. But as Darth Vader...well, he would have wreaked havoc.


I guess Darth Sidious was aware of this, and (smartly) did not get Vader involved in any of the Zygerrian dealings.

I would let Darth Vader take full control of BUTCHERING the Zygerrian Slave Empire as long as he freed all of their slaves. Once Zygerria was ready to be attacked directly I would personally track down the King with an entire brigade of soldiers that were once slaves and leave him to their mercy, or more accurately, lack there of. After that we take the planet, free the slaves, and put the millions of new loyal Imperials to good use.

My Galactic Empire would have no need for slaves. Building the Death Star alone would make millions of jobs and people getting paid work far better than slaves. The jobs made getting all the parts of the Death Star could bring Clone War ravaged planets out of ruin.

This Slave Empire fought alongside the CIS and ravaged many planets. I'm not letting that go. They sided with traitors to the Republic, my Empire has to clean up the mess these barbarians made, and if plundering their riches was it a good enough incentive to take them down THEY ATTACKED MY BUSINESS PARTNERS AND I NEED THOSE GUYS TO RUN THIS FUCKING EMPIRE! I can't bring peace, freedom, justice, and security to my empire on just taxes alone! The Outer Rim is extremely hard to get a good foothold in. . .

And freeing slaves is always good PR.

In episode 2 attack of the clones a clone trooper falls at of a gunship with Padme. Is there any lore behind this clone? Or is he just another clone?
