This wasn’t what I was looking for. I can’t see my screen.

What fixed it for me was to change the settings to manual DVI, while streaming the xbox to my phone so I could see what I was doing. And put my htmi cable into a dvi port on my tv

My problem is, when I plug into the “HDMI out” port- I can see my screen but I get no sound. I’ve tried different HDMI cords, and spots to plug it in and nothing works. If I plug it into the “HDMI in” port, I lose the picture/still no sound. I have no idea what to do. My tv works fine I can hear everything on my tv when I’m not on the HDMI inputs but can’t get any sound on my Xbox one.
