How to Clean an Xbox One S

Cleaning your Xbox One S prolongs the life of it. If you've owned an Xbox One S for a few years the dust build up will be silly. I wanted to make this video in order to teach people how easy it really is to clean an Xbox One S.

Just cleaned mine, instructions were 10/10 and every easy to understand and apply. Was nervous while cleaning the computer part but I just put it back together and plugged it up and she runs like new. Excellent video! We have the Xbox One S without a disc drive, so there were three additional screws to enable us to remove the metal piece above the fan/CPU etc. The metal is REALLY soft so only tighten them gently when screwing them back in! We also went a step further, and removed the cooling fan from the heat sink - just gently pried the tabs from the side of the heat sink and unplugged it from the board. Fairly easy, and it exposed a lot more dirt on the heat sink and on the bottom side of the fan. (I did this with my 11 year-old and he did most of the work) Thanks for making this video - super useful, to the point and informative!

I just had the microfiber cloth, a screw driver and my trusty breath but it seems to be working much better, I'll get around to a better cleaning later, thanks man. Tip: be careful with the controller pairing button on the black casing and don't follow tutorial stoned, you may forget a screw and have to take the bottom off all over again, but hey practice makes perfect right?
