Experience leads me to this definition of hyper-calvinism:
1. Intellectually honest calvinism.
2. Calvinism as practiced by those who will defend their actual beliefs.

Amen! Here's my take.
1. Does God command the gospel to be proclaimed to every person?
2. Does proclaiming the gospel to every person clearly at least infer to every person the premise that the gospel was meant by God for them to be able believe it?
3. Was the gospel meant by God for every person to be able to believe it?

If you answer yes to all three, you are biblically, logically and theologically correct.
If you deny all three, you are a hyper-Calvinist. If you deny the second and third, you are a willfully illogical Calvinist. If you deny only the third you are a consistent Calvinist, but theologically wrong.

I guess there are different definitions of hyper Calvinism. I define hyper as 7 point Calvinism, Tuilp + Double Predestination + Meticulous/Hard Determinism also known as Consistent Calvinism. 😁

With these words, Dr. Flowers appears to assert that: (A) Piper-Calvinism is indeed Hyper-Calvinism and (B) MacArthur has fulfilled a promise of "I shall return" to Calvin's Institutes of the Christian Religion to inform his teaching, not as on the shores of Leyte Island but rather on the slopes of a theocratic Swiss Geneva.
2) When Dr. Flowers refers to Dr. James White as a 'higher Calvinist' (4:45-48), does this mean that he sticks to Calvinism like 'white on rice' particularly as it rises up and becomes fluffy when boiled?

So what do we call a self- Calvinist who rejects determinsm but still affirms God is the first cause of all things and man the secondary cause; but who's still responsible for evil? As well as claim that determinism and free-will are a false dichotomy?
