I did exactly that after I graduated high school in 1988 I went straight to college no spring break no anything went straight to college, after three solid years it earning my associate's degree in natural science I had already moved out of my parents house that was the agreement I had my own rental place I already had a full-time job and I was making my own money and paying my own bills all on my own... By the time I earned my bachelor's degree it was already the year 2000 which is good because I was just 30 years old and in college they teach you if you need to have a career by the time you're 30 and I kind of just made it but unfortunately my whole career path did not actually make it I wind up going to the military and serving time in Iraq... Jordan Peterson's absolutely right you got to have a plan you've got to have some energy you got to get out there and get things done you can't just sit on your butt left life give it to you... You have to be diligent you have to be slightly aggressive got to know what you want very little distractions even though life does happen to give you a bad hand every now and then...solid determination in the willingness to succeed to get your goals always set a goal and try to make it the best you can that's the only way you're going to make it in today's life and unfortunately with the Gen Z kids today they just don't understand what it takes to get your own life started and caught at an intersection that's a blinking red light and they don't know whether to go or stay still.... If you don't achieve your career goals by the time you're in your fifties it's not really that bad you just keep moving forward and think of the best thing that you can do and never lose sight of what you really want to do and never quit...!!
