Yep! When I lowered the weight and used good form, I made significant gains. It's that mind-muscle connection. A lot of what you see on social media today has helped ruin the way people work out.

I completely agree. I've been focusing on letting my ankles bend which causes my knees to travel more forward and it finally let me feel squats on my quads and not my adductors.
Even just using bodyweight and squatting like this for 2 mins will make you feel it like MAD!
I wish I never focused on 'not letting my knees pass my toes when squatting'.

Tom Plantz may have some of the best videos out there on Squating. I know a lot of people don’t like him but his knowledge on squating and other leg workouts is unparalleled.

Knees over toes is real. I use to feel that my quads were very absent when I would squat and I couldn’t drive the weight up. Now my quads have been burning and they’ve progressively gotten stronger and a lot more defined.

My squat sucks. Im 6, 2 and i’m probably being over critical of myself but when I see a shorter person do squats it always looks so perfect and effortless and they can do so much weight.

This is how I squats. the way down. I didn't even know it was more beneficial. I have just naturally automatically always done it that way.

Tom Blatz did speak about this in one of videos. He said something like this and I'll paraphrase it: if your doing bench press, arm Curls, or whatever the exercise is, you've got to execute that exercise with full range of motion and also you need control the weight.

I would LOVE to hear you go on and on about the differences between candy bars. I could listen to that for hours. But I mean, the science behind the differences between Lindt, Cadbury, Mars, Toblerone, et al. Ya know? Really getting into the nitty gritty kitty of caramel, short bread, types of nuts, flavor combinations, tempered chocolates, all of it. Let me know when you do a podcast about that.
