Mom Who Blamed Toddler For Strangling His Sister With Halloween Lights Arrested

A Florida mom was charged with murder in connection with the death of her one-year-old daughter, who police say they found with Halloween lights wrapped around her neck. Kristen De Pasquale called 911 Thursday claiming her two-year-old son, Michael, strangled his infant sister to death. The 27-year-old mom told the 911 dispatcher: "I was taking a shower and my kids were out here playing and I came out and her like, I have the Halloween lights and it was wrapped around her neck." #InsideEdition

I was 50/50 on this and didn’t want to rush to judgement but when she said “i love my baby” out of nowhere was a huge red flag to me.

Within a few seconds after my mother stepped outside the house to get something from the lawn, two-year-old me locked her out while my newborn brother was indoors with me. I was busy watching tv and refused to let her in. She had to call my father at work to help her get back into the house. Any sort of accident could have happened within that time.
Who really knows what exactly happened within that family… At the very least, it sounds like neglect.

Apparently she lied about the shower and was really napping. She pled guilty to neglect. This is so sad because I wouldn’t consider a MOTHER of a baby and toddler needing a nap to be “neglect”. She needed a damn nap like most mothers 🥺

my sister tried to suffocate me when i was about 3 years old and was some how able to push the pillow off of my face. she didn’t want a sibling.

I just don't understand what a child can do for you to want to kill them, I don't want to even harm an adult but there's NOTHING a child could ever do to make me want to harm let alone kill them 😭😭

They dropped the murder charge after the medical examiner changed his mind and along with a second medical examiner said that could have indeed been an accident. She wasn’t in the shower she was asleep and she plead guilty to child neglect.

Being a parent it is entirely possible for kids to do this to each other. I've personally caught this happening between my two young kids and stopped it. If I was getting ready for a shower when it happened, my youngest wouldn't be here.

That "i love my baby" part, made it even more suspicious 🤧 like she was trying too hard to convinced the operator that she love her baby.. come on..
