As someone who grew up struggling to be heard... even struggling to be heard now as an adult. This hits me right in the feels. Not being heard or believed hurts, especially when it is the people who should have the most reason to care what you have to say. And yes, you do just give up, because if nothing you say gets heard, what is there left to do? I remember watching this episode and I litterally cried for that boy. I'm so glad Supernanny helped him and his family.
