I lost 100 pounds with ADF and stopped because I was becoming a bit underweight, but no one tells you how depressing it is to gain that weight back, now I’m getting back into it because I gained a bit too much and it’s so hard! I’m currently on my first day again!

I have found ADF to work well for me. If I do feel a bit hungry during my fasting day, which is not very strong now that I have been doing it for a couple of weeks, I just remind myself, "I can have it tomorrow!" I, personally from my experience and research, think it's not the best idea to combine ADF with OMAD. I think on your eating days, you should give yourself a full 12 hour day of eating 2-3 meals, sometimes called 36/12 fasting. My concern is only eating OMAD during your eating your eating window won't give you enough calories and you're start to feel fatigued from the calory restriction. But, you do you and see how you feel. For me, it seems more sustainable to do a full day of eating and get a bunch of fats and protein in.

There was also recently a study with ADF where they showed that people who sustained it for just ten days were able to continue much longer without too many problems. It takes about that long for you to get used to it, it seems, so try it out for at least that long. Thanks as always for the content!

Just watched your sisters vid on 72hr fasting and mentioned that I am doing 90 days of Alternate day fasting. Last month I lost 9lbs. I have been in this perpetual stall for 2 years up and down the same 10 lbs. So far so good. Great results.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE fasting (never thought those words would ever come out of my mouth normally feel better in my fasting state and I find it much easier not to eat then to figure out what to eat etc. I have lost almost 90 lbs with about 25 more to go and I will do fasting in one form or another the rest of my life. I am going to try the ADF and see how it goes.

We all gotta stop focusing on numbers on the scale and focus on other indicators of our success... like how we feel and how our clothes fit. The body can fluctuate 4-6lbs a day and is not the most accurate measure :)

I started a 3 day egg fast yesterday (secretly aiming for 5 days) I had a cheat meal and banana bread last week and gained 2lbs 😩 I now it doesn’t seem like much but it gets to you looking at the scale and seeing the number go up (any weight gain is a bummer when you’re trying to drop the pounds 😞)
This quarantine is hard, I’m here with you✊🏼

Seriously tho... ADF is AWESOME I did it for a month with Jess and her Dad... I lost a pound every other day... Excellent results!!! I totally agree that people shouldn't jump right into this type of fasting... Definitely work ur way up but when u get there it'll be AWESOME... I hope to be there again soon... I've kicked butt today... Been fasting since 8pm yesterday... It's almost 6pm today... I think it's safe to say I'm BACK on the wagon AGAIN 😂 I swear I started all over like 4 fricken times in the same week trying to get back on board!!!! It was TOUGH... Wow great result go girl!!!! I have completed 3 weeks keto & have dropped 4kgs....not huge I know but I do lose weight very slowly....I am just happy I am losing, not gaining. I am now trying don't eat after my evening meal & then I don't eat til after noon the next hope that works :)

I have lost 40 pounds doing alternate day fasting with several cheat days beginning March 2020 - I lost my dad suddenly this year and with Covid and everything else the cheat days are more than I want them to be but I’m getting back on track this month.

I'm on day two of a 2-day fast. I started keto at the end of June. Two months in, I'm down 3.5 inches on my waist. I've tried fasting in the past, and it worked, but it was much harder because I was eating lots of carbs between fasts. I'm feeling pretty good, and hope that fasting helps me reverse my insulin resistance!!!

I am interested in the alternate day fasting - can you have any sweetener or water enhancers in your drinks at all? Or absolutely nothing on the fasting days? Is it a full 24 hours in between? Great results!!! One day I may try this LOL!! I am going to see if I can get myself back into regular intermittent fasting first.

Hello! New subscriber. I have been doing keto since August and I feel like quarantine took a huge hit on my body. I also have been unmotivated to stick to strict keto. I just started alternate day fasting to undo the damage I did during quarantine.

Dang. Ice cream...the NEXT DAY???🏆185 181.5!!!! WHOA!!! EXCELLENT!!!🏆🏆🏆Exactly. I managed to stop snacking and get back to 2MAD last week. Was supposed to be doing alternate as of 7pm last night. I managed OMAD today. Couldn't make it to 7 tomorrow morning. 😒Yup...Gotta taper off again...then get back to every other. I have willed myself the last week and a half to jump up and do some leg or arm exercises when I feel anxious or bored. Thats how i stopped the snacking. Will start crocheting tomorrow...lovely opportunity to hit the reset button. Again. Until we settle into the right routine...👍👍👍
