This video is the sequel of the other one plus one equals zero series video. This time, one plus one is zero is proved by imaginary numbers. The square root of minus one is called I which is an imaginary number. Math fun facts always show us how to find the mathematical problems with fun.

This video is intended to give fun to mathematics. Don't take it seriously. Some rules of mathematics were kicked out to prove this funny result so-called kick out the rules of mathematics.

At the second step: you wrote 1 + √-1^2
Now the square root can be positive or negative and is indicated with the sign ± and so for the -1^2 it should be written ±1^2 so if we rewrite we get ±√ ±1^2 now if you choose the plus sign on the root you have to do it on the 1 so you get +√1^2 which is 1 and we are done. now if you choose instead the - sign you get -√-1^2 now when you spit the two roots one of them has to be - and the other + because they have to multiply to be negative so we get -√-1 * √-1 which is -i * i which is -(-1) = 1

Square root of 1 becomes +1 or - 1. (You cannot take - 1 only) . If the squre root of 1 is - 1 it becomes wrong because 1+1 cannot be equal to 0. So, you should take the squreroot of 1 as +1. Therefore you can see 1+1 equals to 2. Maths is a logic subject.

Sir the mistake is done at beigning since 1 can't be broken into root -1 × root -1. For this atleast one number must be +ve.

You are wrong because
1+1=1+i²
And 2-1=i²
i²=1... (1)
So 1+1=√-1x✓-1+1
1+1=1+1
2=2
Hence proved

sqrt(a^2) = +-a as a^2=a^2 and (-a)^2=a^2. sqrt is not a single valued function. Even without using i in the proof, there is just loss of information weather we had positive 1 or negative 1 after writing sqrt(1) instead of 1. Breakdown into (-1)(-1) is just equivalent to writing sqrt(1)=-1.
1+sqrt(1)=2 OR 0 because we can take positive or negative root
Basically when we had positive number originally we should bear in mind that we take positive square root

So you kicked out the mathematical rule that a negative number squared (in this case -1) is a positive number I'm guessing?

Last step first we will take out square root of imagery number and then it will be -1 square = 1
Hence 1+1 = 2

No, you really kick out the rules of mathematics, because the rule of separation of the sqrt, namely sqrt(a. b) = sqrt(a).sqrt(b), used on sentences 2 and three can only be applied if a and b are positive numbers. For example, consider a = -2 and b = -3. You cannot say that sqrt(-2).sqrt(-3)= sqrt(6), a positive real number, whereas sqrt(-2).sqrt(-3)= 2i. 3i = -6, a negative real number, do you?

It started with +1, then arrived at i² = -1 and the root of i equals -1. This is true, but it cannot be equal to i² = -1; i² = 1 at the same time ....

Root a plus b equals root a * root b only if they BOTH r not negative IN THIS CASE BOTH ARE NEGATIVE

in third step if you split root1 as root-1.root-1 it is imaginary so it is impossible to split
