I was bothered by the idea of Negative Frequencies…then I realized: +Frequency added to a -Frequency must =0 . Which is just saying that Sin(wt) exists at the same time as Sin(-wt)…so that they cancel. But a good engineer knows that every audible tone has it’s negative tone…so why do we hear the positive one? It must mean that negative time actually does exist but we do not exist in that realm! When you upconvert a tone you shift both of these tones and you hear both in our realm.
