I remember when I was a teenager and my parents and siblings were against me using any type of protein supplement due to the thought of me getting side effects and such. And for majority of my teenage years, I didn't consume any protein shakes until near the end of it. My only regret was that I didn't take matters in my own hands and do more research about it so therefore I would be more educated.

This video is for teenagers who are thinking about trying protein shakes but first wants to know what it's all about. So in this video, you will learn what protein powder comes from, and generally the ingredients on how it's made!

*Please note that you only need to have protein shakes if you can NOT achieve your acquired protein goal. Always remember that these protein shakes are a supplement and NOT a necessity!*

Hey man I’m 14 and am wondering is there any alternatives for protein powder in some low calorie recipes like protein pancakes and others like that? Or is it safe for me to have small amounts of protein powder in those recipes to help build muscle?

I’m 15 is it okay to take? A lot of the healthier versions of foods require protein powder. (EX: Protein Pancake, Muffins, Bars, etc)

hello, i’m currently maintaining weight to build muscle and burn fat as a 15 year old. The question i have for you and i would appreciate if you can reply to this, I have been constipated for a few weeks and my mom thinks is because of the whey protein powder and i have done my research about constipation and protein powders, i tell her that it’s not from the protein powder but from my diet. I focus more on eating lean meats and getting as much protein as i can’t, but i have not been focusing on veggies and fruits especially getting more water in and a lack of fiber. This took me some time to figure out why i have been constipated and i’m assuming it’s because of a lack of fiber if i’m right. My mom is one of those moms that believe that just because it’s a powder it’s not natural and is against protein powder but still gets it for me because she hopes i know what i’m doing and won’t affect my health, if anyone or you can reply and tell me what my mistakes are or if i’m completely right, i just need reassurances. (if anyone can let me know what i should say my mom about this i would appreciate it also)

I am 16 years old, a girl and I weigh 35 kilos. I use protein shakes, 10 gr (30 gr- 22 gr protein) per day, should I continue, what should I do, how much should I use and should I drink it every day? And do you think I should have a protein bar?. I had anorexia. And I want my height to grow, I'm 161cm tall. (I couldn't eat the junk food I loved, but now I'm a little better. Yo men, so i have this question.
Im 14yr old boy, i workout 6 times a week in the gym, taking my food, but dont getting enough protein. So the question is im thinking to start getting 30g of whey protein after my workout with some carbs, but i dont know if this can effect something in my body. Can you help me with the answer? So I’m 17 (18 next month) and I’m currently been injured for 6 weeks with a torn acl and I have yet to have surgery do you think it’s a good idea to start taking protein shakes to recover faster and better or to prepare for surgery?
