I made a blood exam few months ago. Turns out my blood is perfectly fine in every aspect possible, so, even if we consider protein shakes to be somehow harmful, I don't think people should worry too much about it since the ones who drink it tend to have a healthier lifestyle, anyway. Instead, they should worry about greasy food, sugar drinks, cigars, etc.

As a sport science undergrad I think the points you're highlighting in this video should be part of any 1st year students curricula. Not everything that is published is true, and not everything you find on a heading is believable. The critical evaluation of scientific publications should be as important as the shift from bro sciece into real science. Thanks for being this awesome!

People who talks about stuff they dont know anything about is so annoying. I heard an older woman say «Proteinshakes are so bad for u and so unnecessarily, why dont people just eat a banana after workout??» *like wtf woman, learn ur stuff*

Course of action:
Make sure to have other sources of protein, and use the supplement as a ... what do they call it ... supplement.

There's a reason why the Daily Mail is often called "the Daily Fail". They often publish nonsense.

I started drinking protein shakes recently, I'd say about 2 months now, and let me be frank with you all; it's changed everything.
Well, not everything but I've certainly seen muscles in the mirror's reflection that I never knew I had; performance-wise, I just won't
lie, I've dropped a lot of time on my 4x100.

Working out = more hunger.
Protein Shakes are not remotely all created equal. Shakes can be anywhere from 130 cals to 400+ for more meal replacement type drinks.
Sounds like another pointless crusade article.

How about the link between IGF—1 and cancer? That seems worthwhile to look into.
