Hi Tammy! I just found your channel and thank goodness I did! I am 49 years old and premenopausal, with 40 pounds of weight to lose. Please make this a regular series. The way you break everything down, just makes sense! Thank you so much for sharing your story! 😊

Firstly, can say your makeup looks fabulous!! We need a tutorial for this look. Or maybe you already have one?
Also, I find that it's what one eats on a consistent basis: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc.
Holidays, birthdays, date night or other "once-in-a-while" events are fine to splurge a bit. I batch cook on Sundays so I know what I'm eating the rest of the week. If I'm short on time, then a pot of soup comes in very handy to keep me from reaching for the wrong thing.

What a great video! I am 72, have been very disciplined and athletic my adult life. I gained weight around eight years ago, and could not get it to budge, regardless of consistent exercise. I am very disciplined, eating. This past August 1 I began intermittent fasting 18/6 on average. Also I've eaten low carb. Finally I am losing weight! I'm down 16 pounds and hope to hit -20 pounds by January 1. Intermittent fasting has been a godsend for me I would like to lose 20 more next year, I will continue the fasting though because of the health benefits and I'm less hungry then I am eating throughout the day. Everyone is different, but this has been such a blessing for me.

Counting macros works! I’ve lost inches, puffiness & my joints feel better! I love it when you share your lifestyle! You have great energy & it’s really motivating to listen to you talk about your experiences.

Meal planning and food prep is hugely important. I pack a lunch everyday and my coworkers laugh, but I eat great salads while they’re snacking on endless rice cakes, cookies and crackers. Nice to hear you talk about weightless and the health connection. Thanks Tammy!

Hey Tammy! I love your wisdom and your honesty.
I have suffered from chronic migraines for many years. I have been a vegetarian and then transitioned to plant based for 14, 5 years.
About 6 months ago, I started following a carnivore diet to help with my debilitating migraines.
It’s been working.. no migraines! Cutting out the grains, the veggies, and the fruit made an amazing difference. Additionally my bloating disappeared..
I am feeling at my best!

Would love to see a video of your workout routines..
Have a beautiful day!

Tammy, when you first posted this, I said to myself, “That’s great, but there’s no way I’m going to count macros.” Well, I made some big changes recently and am now counting macros (especially protein) and fiber and eating more often. I’ve increased my step count and started lifting weights again, and the fat is already going bye-bye. 😊 Finally, getting healthy doesn’t seem impossible!

I am 60 and have lost 18lbs too by increasing protein. I used to be eating around 12-15% each day and have increased to 22% as that works for me. I found it counter productive to push up higher. As you say, find what works for you. I loved watching this while I was on a treadmill getting my steps up. You are so inspiring xx

Hey Tammy, my fellow Florida friend! 🥰 I loved this video! I would absolutely like to see more “what I eat in a day” and exercise videos. They’re motivating and encouraging! Much love to you and Lou and the girls! ❤️

I love the fact that you take no crap, eat what you want and basically tell people ever so nicely to keep their opinions to themselves because you are going to to what YOU are going to do. Love it!!!!

I just came across your channel and I love it already. I'm 56 and weighing 135 at 5'6". I workout 5 days a week and yes I count calories! There's no way around it either. I stay under 2000 calories a day and do not count the calories I burn daily. That's what's works for me and I'm able to maintain my weight. It's good to see someone monitor their eating. That is what it take! Again love your channel. Looking forward to watching all of your videos!

Tammy- I can't express the amount of hope you have given me with this video!! I've been struggling with menopausal weight gain for 10 years, trying all the same diets as you. This Is So Exciting to me!! Thank you so much for sharing your journey!!

Yes, anything you put out food, diet, and fitness related is of interest to me! I recently got on the scale because I was feeling too full all the time and I was 7 pounds over my "never go over weight". Gah! seven pounds isn't much but it is trending in the wrong direction. The thing about being 62 is comfort has become so much more important than it ever was before, so restricting calories is a huge challenge whereas when I was young it was enjoyable. All this to say I need inspiration and you really dish it out.

This has to be one of your BEST videos to date. Thank you for such GREAT advice and combing through so many diet topics to come to a REAL, healthy eating plan everyone can adhere to....the one that is tailored to us! You helped us to realize that we can't go on the low fat, high fat, low carb, keto, vegan, carnivore, etc. diets all at the same time. I tried it and it only left broccoli to eat. You helped us to sort it out. Thank you for being so giving of your time and energy and sharing with us your wealth of knowledge on this topic. You're as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside. 🙏

The macro journey is just beginning and it’s a bit tricky but I’m trying to figure it out!! Thank you for all you do!! We appreciate you and I’m grateful to have found you!! Congrats on your fat loss which is my goal as well!! I’m healthy but menopause has left me with 23lbs to get off. I’m starting 1/1/23 and never looking back!! I’m a Ballroom Dancer for over 30 yrs and I’m adding yoga and walking as well as weights. I’m 72 but people think I’m maybe 50🙌🙌🙌🎉🎉🎉🎉 I WILL succeed thanks to you!! Looking forward to this journey with you!! Happy New Year Tammy!! 🎉🎉🎉❤🙌🙋‍♀️

The struggle is real…and this journey has been real confusing! I’m still discovering what is working for me, so, I really appreciate this approach. I’ll definitely be applying this, along with incorporating more weight-training to my daily workouts. Thanks, Tammy! So happy for your success!!!
