I think I’ve been doing good so far. I’m in the early phase of my technique phase right now even tho I’ve only been playing for around 4 years. I was not doing well mentally when I started and guitar gave me something to improve my life and give me some purpose. So for the first 3 years I basically locked myself in my room and would play for a minimum of 3 hours a day. Don’t regret a single thing. I then switched to bass and applied my same technique and style so I shred on the bass. Hopefully I can be as good as you or Charles one day love 💕.

My first time ever picking up a guitar, and I was doing scales & "hammer-ons", without even realizing it. That was nigh 20 years ago. Now, I prefer to just relearn and do my chords & alternate picking.

(Yes; I was Nucking Futs, with everything I did, back then.)

I am playing now 55 years guitar and like to listen to your speed licks but I even don’t want to play them myself, because I like nice simple melodies I may remember.
