Another thing - if anybody has to eat spoiled food some day to survive..
..The stomach acid is the main thing we have in our body to break down foods and kill whatever is alive in it - before our immune system gotta handle what goes out in our whole body.
..Dont drink water or what ever you have before, while or too soon after you eat that food..
..Hydrate your body atleast a couple of hours before you eat in order to let your stomach handle the food correctly.. Drink later.. Preferable when you start to feel hungry again, or when really have to drink (depending on where you are and what you are doing)

Let your stomach acid to the job alone.
