I think you’re the only thorough base location video I’ve seen from any of the maps. I love how you actually showed where everything was not just “this is a good spot for metal just over there”

Tip for anyone with a bad computer: Don't make your base in a cave like the dwarf lava kingdom. Whenever you exit or enter, the game will have to render the inside of the cave and then the outside which might result in the game freezing or crashing. I made my base in the location I mentioned and my game crashed once because I entered and exited the cave too often in a small amount of time.

There is also a cave behind the waterfall that falls from the castle, its big enough to fit a bronto and can be accessed by walking or swimming

Anyone else thinks the fjordur is the best map ever?

I saw gold mountain since day one and have been living there and it’s an amazing spot to live because as soon as you get a maewing you can get all the resources you need and very very easy honey nodes on top the cliff plateaus between the waterfall castle and the mountain that are unguarded

There is actually a second floor in the main hall of helm’s deep. You can fill it up and have a secret area there.

In the second one, if you stop just before entering the cave enterence you’ll find that in that room there’s secret storage in the ceiling. A lot of people already know that for PvP but if you have any resources or small dinos u want out of sight that’s a nice place to store them.

I live in the mine and let me tell you it's nice there's a Desmodus spawn at the top of the aberrant cave, and across from the tribute room there's a bunch of insects where the metal is.

consider turning brightness up when showing the inside of caves. couldn't see anything between the entrance and the cavern of spot #2

Really cool! But I like to always have beachside on my main base (PVE) because I like to have my big water dinos close by, would love some recommendations for beachside bases in this map, right now I'm thinking of going with one as close as I can to the teleporters so it's fast to go to the other regions of this awesome map.

nice video! i arrived on fjodur yesterday in singleplayer and i am absolutly overwhelmed where to build my base, so many options, so many lovely spots.
and it's absolut beyond me why they choose to make the swamp so damn hideous... look at the swamp on the island or crystal island, they are so pretty.

In the castle with all the waterfalls if you follow the waterfall that is connected to the castle by the eggs, it opens up and you can build a base in the waterfall
