Waited 5 months after shipping to finally get mine, but it truly is a beautiful monitor. Love it! Preordered in Oct. 2020, shipped end of June 2021 (slow shipping used by ship), had my monitor given to someone who ordered express shipping and didn’t get their monitor so mine was rerouted to them (guy who got it literally lived about 23 miles from my house 😂😊😞😢), and finally had one express shipped to me end of Nov. 2021 straight from Hong Kong. Long story short, it’s been a journey, but I guess worth it, got it at the early backer price and love it!

Seems like a really great monitor as I much prefer colour accuracy and 4k resolution but 27inch isn't big enough, I like 31.5 - 34 inch monitors.

Pixel-perfect (integer) scaling is not covered, or am I wrong?.. The exclusive Eve Spectrum feature no other monitor in the world supports, including LG monitors based on the same LCD panel by LG themselves. Integer scaling turns each logical pixel into a square group of integer number of same-color physical pixels, thus preventing unreasonable blur — e.g. 2×2 pixels when scaling Full HD (1920×1080, 1080p) to 4K (3840×2160).

Great in-depth review Nada 🥰👍! Sweet looking monitor 🥰🥳. I actually a little disappointed I cancelled my order of this monitor. I did however do this to help out a family member with their financial commitments as they lost their job during COVID and decided to help them out 🥰👍 (family first) but I will look at it again if it hits the retail shelves.

I'm still happy with my LG 27GN950-B (which has the same panel and much of the same underlying hardware). I had no stomach for the risks and delays inherent with a Kickstarter product.

I'm glad to see you received a monitor from Eve. I suggested Eve to send you one and they did! I have my Spectrum for several months now and i like it. The problem Eve has right now is shipping problems especially for standard shipping. standard shipping is a mess right now. The pandemic just made things even worse. shipping boats are being delayed for weeks waiting to be docked at ports and or unloaded. there isn't enough truck drivers to haul the containers. California has over 60 boats waiting to be docked, not enough port employees as well. i would suggest people to pay extra for express shipping if they want to get their monitor asap instead of waiting for several months via standard shipping. Their manufactures are being limited on how much they can make due to China latest power cut policy. Eve is fulfilling orders but at a snail pace. Several eve customers have been getting their monitors delivered via express and some via standard.

Nice Review! Ive got a 2080ti currently - would it be possible to just downscale (like putting in the game) to a different resolution when playing an graphic intensive game? Like just putting it in the game to 1440p when If i should not reach around 144 Frames?

Good review Nada but I have to disagree with your "16 zone edge lit local dimming is better than nothing" assessment. In my experience short of having a FALD backlight with hundreds of dimming zones (or OLED) it is better to have no local dimming at all. The blooming is extremely distracting.

My Samsung CRG9 only has 10 zones for a huge a monitor and whenever a zone lights up the blacks look worse than a 15 year old cheap TN panel - the 1000 nits brightness actually because a detriment in this scenario. The CRG9 looks excellent in SDR so I have HDR disabled at all times.

These limited local dimming solutions only help the display reach quoted dynamic contrast ratios but in practice HDR is always unusable on these displays.

Great review. I have one on order, but from support I can tell it won't even ship till the end of this month and I got slow shipping so...almost Christmas present. There are two points you missed that I was hoping for. One is the part about having no fan unlike just about every other 4K high referesh panel out there. The other was concerning HDMI 2.1 bandwidth. Eve confirmed it supports the full 48Gbps bandwidth unlike the consoles and televisions that only support 40Gbps, so it should be able to do 4K 144Hz 10bit over HDMI 2.1 instead of just 120Hz. Wondering if you could confirm that.
