Its better to be single than in a relationship where you are not truly in love with the other person or because you dont want to be alone. If youre single - good for you! If youre married - good for you. Live your life however you are going to be happy.

Never been in a serious relationship at 25! Yet I am the one all my friends come to for advice??? They come to me because I am brutally honest and can see the relationship from both sides, and I am going to give you the truth. It is not all about the people with experience. I have dealt with other relationships in my life and even though none were "serious" doesn't mean I am clueless or my perspective and advice is less valid then some other person who has been in a million relationships yet has been unhappy in all of them.

i'm single because i'm happy. i know how much work it takes to be in a relationship and if the right person comes along i'm all for it but until then, i dont even like hearing "there's nothing wrong with being single". you'd never hear "there's nothing wrong with being married". normalize singleness.

it's also possible that someone who is not emotionally involved in your relationship the way that you are can give you some sound advice on how to handle difficulties or potential flags you may need to look out for. #justsayin
