Advisable to take beet roots as salads after piecing into very fine pieces mixed with pieces of onions and green chillies and drops of mustard oil and a half spoon of cedar apple vinegar. If you are non-veg few pieces of fish can be mixed with to enrich it with protein. Then mix it properly with a spoon and take with rice or bread.

Hmmm. Spinach, kiwi, celery are all high in oxalates. Not mentioned are beets, chard, dandelion are pretty good for nitric oxide too … they have the same oxalate problems. Oxalate contribute to kidney stones… ya don’t want to go there. Been there twice and never again.
Be careful of eating too many foods higher in arginine than lysine. The ratio of these two aminos can cause shingles outbreaks. Too high arginine and low lysine cause the imbalance. So, if you had chickenpox growing up or the vaccine (including the shingles vaccine), you are vulnerable esp over 55 years old.
Extensive Food lists for these two aminos can be found online.
Highly recommend Sally K Norton for oxalates… book Toxic Superfoods is great. Changed my overloaded oxalate in my body.

Bottom line, I think when people see this kind of info they can think they should load up on these foods. However, common sense should tell us that, yes, we should maybe eat these foods on a regular basis. Say maybe once a week or so. But for heavens sake don' t overload on them. Too much of a good thing is never a good thing
