5 Signs You May Have an Impacted Wisdom Tooth

Oh the pain! You may have noticed a twinge here and there for the last few weeks and been praying it would go away on its own or it may have started all of a sudden in the middle of the night. Either way, something is wrong, it hurts, and it's time to have it taken care of.

There are a few signs that are very common when an impacted wisdom tooth gets infected and today's video goes into more detail about the symptoms. You may notice:

1) Throbbing pain in the back of your mouth
2) Swollen, tender, and bleeding gums
3) Swelling around your jaw or pain and difficulty opening your mouth
4) Headaches or pain that radiates to your ear
5) Bad taste or smell coming from your mouth

As a general rule, this usually happens at the most inconvenient time possible. The most important thing to do is call a dentist (call us!) and be treated right away. It's not going to get better on its own and the sooner you have it treated the faster you will be felling better.

I got my fourth tooth removed and 5 days later after I got it removed and the numbing wore off I can feel my wisdom teeth in my jaw everytime I open my mouth and it’s very discomforting

I've been panicking my whole life about the pain on my teeth, I felt a nerve pain in my jaw, a pain on my cheek bone, pain on my throat. I've been searching online about this pains and I've found Trigeminal Neuralgia and TMJ syndrome. On that day I got depressed cause their description is really pain in the ass, mentioning about uncurable illnesses, And then Im starting to wonder if this is a growing wisdom teeth, and then here I am still agonising the pain.

I had an x Ray done just the other day. They said there was a slight infection. However I’ve been having neck pain for months along with what feels like a lump right under the ear by the jaw on the side of the tooth that they said is slightly infected. The tooth itself doesn’t seem to be hurting near as bad as my neck. Could this still be the wisdom tooth causing it? July 9th I’m scheduled to have both bottom wisdoms removed.

I think my wisdom tooth on my left side is impacted and now I have developed a canker sore around it and on the side of my tongue. I don't have insurance to get it looked at though :(
