I bought an NKJV Orthodox Study Bible at the local Greek Festival a few years ago. I finally got over my Protestant bias against the Apocrypha.

I have that Bible, but in the "leather/soft" version. It's really nice.

The craziest thing just happened Bojan. I have my phone in my hands with my hands on this bible when I clicked on your videos, and i thought my camera was on for half a second because it was the same view as when I look down at my desk

I own a copy of said Bible. I have heard nothing but good things about it from the Orthodox world. I own one because it is one of the few Bibles that offers some of the extra canonical books of the Orthodox Church (i.e. 3 and 4 Maccabees, etc.) that the Catholic Bible doesn’t contain. Also, I own it because a professor at my alma mater is one of the priests who helped compile and edit the OSB.

I rescued an edition from being destroyed. It was part of a confiscated/seized lot of leftover unclaimed items somewhere I worked and protocols were to liquidate such items for liability reasons. It is one of my favourite Bibles that I keep in my personal library.

I have the Orthodox Study Bible, and I like it, but from my perspective, it is really very light on the 'study' part. Very few notes. Little commentary. I don't find it exceptionally useful for study. But I am comparing it to the other study bibles I've used. If it is all you have, it's great. A good starting point, but I would like to see the next edition expanded.

I have the Orthodox Study Bile. I love it. I bought my wife a really cool CHRONOLOGICAL study Bible. Yes, chronological! I am still making my way through mine, before I tackle hers, but I am looking forward to seeing the biblical story told in the order in which it happened.

I had to ship my copy from the United States to my country. I'm so blessed to get the copy. Though I did not notice the map of the Lord of the Rings at the end. XD

There’s a great app, that has the entire Orthodox calendar (I use the old calendar) but it has all the daily scripture readings listed. As well the saints the commemorated on that day

Longtime subscriber here, JUST discovered OrthoReview last week. It'd be weird, but would love to see you two livestream together.

I mean it would be REALLY weird.

Great Bible. Only issues are that the OT notes could use some work and that the OT translation isn't always an accurate translation of the Septuagint.

Take a look at R. Grant Jones's (Anglican Bible reviewer) review of this book. He points out many translation errors with the OT. Perhaps a 2nd Edition can fix these issues.

Other than that, the OSB is phenomenal. Every English speaking Orthodox Christian today should own one.

I've got a copy (2008 print), but am a bit disappointed to have discovered more than a few spelling/grammar formatting errors in it, but once you get past that, it's a great thing to have.
