My mother always taught us the Book of Proverbs. If anything that’s the book that carried me through my youth and young adult life. There are certain things I avoided because this book was so embedded in me and from there I was on my own. I’ve loved reading the Scriptures since I got baptised in 2013 and like my mother I divert people to the book of Proverbs because it shows us who we are and shows us what we can be if we heed its wisdom.

I'm almost 45 years old but I only came to faith at age 40. Since then I've been a fervent reader of the word and consumer of sermons and expository commentaries, etc. I still feel that I have a long way to go with my Biblical knowledge and learning. This way of studying the Bible is so valuable for all believers. I was saved January 2023 been a luke warm Christian though since I was about 13. I’ve never seen anyone break down the Bible like this. Subscribed can’t wait to start learning how to study like this.

I grew up in the days of Billy Graham and Dwayne’s crusades. You are a preacher and a good one. You could reach a lot more people. If you got out there on the stage, I can’t believe for your young age you are so wise and able to put things ideas and concepts, and truths together, and make them so much more deeply understandable. Pretty cool seeing someone break down the thought process I have when reading my Bible. This is how I think and read in real time. The way the words relate and paying attention to things like fear the Lord AND turn away form evil. The and is so important and shows us that fearing the Lord will make us turn away from evil as it does not say trust the Lord and resist Evil. It suggests we will turn away instead of saying fear him and try.
