I’m a retired nurse, so I’ve observed women in the wild, so to speak. Men do bully each other, but it’s rarely a sustained activity. I think that we just get over it. Women will carry on subtle bullying for many months, often just making remarks, spreading rumours, slowly undermining the victim’s reputation, etc, all the while the victim remains unaware of her true enemy.

This underestimates the harm antisocial "mothers" cause. The damage is hidden, wrapped in the shame, addiction, and suicide in installments of their adult children...

Women obviously show much more interest in caring for the weak, sickly, downtrodden, destitute. Hugely overrepresented as they are in nursing/helping/caring occupations.

And to a large extent it really is a beautiful expression of compassion, sociability and empathy.

But there's also a darker underbelly, to be found in these caring/nursing roles. For example callous, morbid attraction to the social drama of people in various kinds of plight. Another thing is to have nasty digs at the dignity of those already in a humiliating situations. For example, they might humiliate a person in their care by speaking to them in a tone of voice that not too subtly suggests that they're speaking to a child. Or they might out of spite try to get into the head of someone that their life situation or medical condition, is much worse than it really is.

I find it weird that reputation destruction seems to be such a succesful strategy. I mean how do they get away with it? Why isn't their own reputation destroyed instead for doing such a manipulative thing.

If you’ve ever been convicted of a physically violent crime in the USA. The systems for rehabilitation will inform you again and again that financial, psychological and emotional violence are all considered violent. These are forms of violence practiced as commonplace among modern women. All of which, if punishable to a man (i.e. coercion where violence is “implied”) ought to be punishable and imprisonable to a woman. After all… equal rights, equal accountability.
