I first learned about this from my dad, when we were talking about introverts. I described introverts as being antisocial and my dad said "No, it's asocial. Not antisocial." And then explained to me what being antisocial really meant. It was pretty cool to learn about honestly.

Just got kicked out of a group and I feel really sad because I can't communicate with them anymore. But watching your videos really makes me happy. Your calm voice really makes me feel better :)

It always peeved me when people use “anti-social” to refer to introverts because it is associated with bad people or people who do things that aren’t seen as acceptable or good. I’m glad you made this video. In calling me “antisocial” and not “asocial, ” it’s pretty much baselessly accusing me of being a person who doesn’t respect people’s rights and causing crimes. It accuses me of being manipulative, lacking of self-awareness, heavily bigoted, and arrogant.

I can't speak for or against the accuracy in these descriptions of ASPD, but I love that you show it in a sympathetic light. They deal with so much crap from being dubbed psycho/sociopaths (and all the horrible tropes and stereotypes that come with it) when it's a personality disorder resulting from childhood trauma and they're trying to get by like any person.

i’m an introvert when i’m around extroverted, confident people yet when i’m around introverted, shy and seemingly insecure people, i feel like speaking up and taking the role as the boss (this usually occurs when doing group assignments). Anyone else like this?

If I ever doubted that I was introvert, I never will again. Every point in this video about introversion describes exactly me and how I function. Also nice to know there is a clinical difference between antisocial and asocial - I've heard so many use them interchangeably. Thanks!

Introverts really need alone time. They are high thinkers and and can easily get annoyed by the environment. More people around them makes them feel low in energy so they prefer only few close people.

This video actually helped me solve a personal debate if I truly was an introvert or not. I thank you greatly

I'm at this point proudly both introverted and anti-social.
There was a point where I was Just introverted, but the pre-judgements of others leading to an inability to ever find that close knit group of friends has turned me anti-social.
If people are convinced they don't need me in their life without ever having spoken to me then I see no reason to convince them otherwise because I wouldn't want someone that flippantly shallow in my life to begin with.

I would honestly love a video on why siblings that grow up in the same toxic environment can turn out completely different. It's an interesting topic

What about social anxiety vs introverts? Now that we’re on the topic, people often confuse the two and I’m pretty sure they’re different

Thank you so much for this video! I get so tired of being called "antisocial" when I know that's not true

Most people are unaware what antisocial really means. It's kinda triggering me when they use the term because it sounds cool to them 💀
