Very friendly video, good points and aptly reported. Security is an expensive habit and Germans are willing to pay for the good of society. As a German, I consider the rules (including low taxes) for alcohol consumption to be somewhat lax, but in Scandinavia the strict rules lead to more excessive behavior by their citizens abroad.

Here my comments about the lists:
I hope you understand that the closed shops on Sunday means that this time is reserved for the family.
All products are available throughout the week so there is no need to do the shopping on a Sunday.
Earlier the shops even closed on Saturday lunch time. There are always some gas stations and smaller kiosk who have the basic food.

If you say no - You can always say; Aber mach dir bitte keine Umstände, then you appreciate that someone takes the effort for offering you some food or drinks .
Dressing room / Sauna/FKK -- that comes from the same time .. also the naturalists started already in the 19th century. Free body culture. There is nothing to be ashamed of, just be as you are.
Especially in the Sauna you will find different rules -- like Finnish Sauna, you have a shower and then go in you sit on the towel, afterwards leave and have a cold shower
hot steam bath you go in without a towel (with 95% humidity is doesn't make sense to have one ), you rinse your place with water, afterwards leave and have a shower. Try steam cabin, you go in with a towel etc.So each sauna will tell you their rules. Here in Vienna you have on the Danube Island some FKK areas and there is only a line and FKK means from here on it starts the free area.
If you sit with a bathing suit, you might used earlier in chlorine water, in the sauna that is quite unhygienic.

Most people drink tap water as this comes in really good quality. There is no need to bottle water like in India.
The carbonated water bottle contains less bacteria in the bottle than non carbonated . That was shown in many tests. I mostly drink tap water the whole day but maybe a Orange juice with soda in the evening. Radler is always a good option - so beer mixed with fizzy juice. And all without ice cubes. I had this custom where they put that in all drinks.

Unlimited Sick leave - that is not unlimited - here in Austria I guess no longer than 1/2 year -- than you need to work again and then you are entitled to have more. Also you dont get the full amount as after a certain time you get Krankengeld which is then only 50% of the income.

I am waiting that you do a recipe for Malai Makhan or Malaba Parotti -- easy enough for an Austrian gauri.

I guess after you have been living here a while you will start to really enjoy, that on sundays every shop is closed.
It takes out the rush in life and let's you do just nothing without feeling bad about it, take a walk in the park, go swimming or watch NetFlix and such.
You know, lazy sunday afternoon. ;-)
I also guess, that if you visit home or another country you will have a reverse culture shock, because even on sundays everything is open and it is a day as any other day, not really a sunday.
You'll see.

The thing with the lockerrooms is just a case of cheap installation, in our old swimming bath there was a nice concept, to get into the swimming area you have to go through single changing cells, so you go in, change your cloths and then take a locker before going for a swim!
Thats a good way to have single changing rooms.

germans are rather healthy folk
they don't drink beer instead of water ^^
they very much drink enough water a day
and beer has 5% alcohol in it
so if you drink one liter or 1, 5 liter
you'd probably be drunk

but maybe I misunderstood what you said
if they go hiking and at the end of the route is a beergarden they probably brink a cold beer instead of water
but that's a very specific situation
in their everyday life they don't drink beer instead of water

Hi from Germany :) What a random selection, did make me laugh. Sunday shopping: true but get your milk at petrol stations :) They are open 24/7, and in the cities there are little shops that are open too. On Sundays we prefer to swap water with beer ... lols. We invented it, its great, but dont reduce us to only drinking beer.... we also drink wine :D I hope you are safe in this crazy time I hate the non-existing dressing rooms in gyms too. :D ... Prost!
