This is very fucking accurate and I love the fact that people are spreading awareness like this.

I am so embarressed and dissapointed in myself for having mental illness. I am struggling to accept it. Also I am scared of it and the fact that I am going into treatment.
I am scared shitless.

I think these videos are great; my friend has a mental illness and im glad im learning about it. Also her enunciation is perfect. Speaking a little too fast..?

What a beautiful introduction pic! 🥰 Anyways, it is definetely true that depressed people would like to battle their condition on their own, simply because they feel like they have already put way too much responsibilities on their loved ones. I can not say anything about the other 3 things.

A very good and interesting video. It's especially relevant to me as my best friend suffers from depression. I think for her, the talking about it is really linked to the fear of people leaving her. She told me after a really long while and I'm glad she did. It's hard to listen to her talk about it, but I can see that it benefits her enormously.

Thank you so much for this video! I feel this content will be helpful for potentially care providers and professionals in which will be working with individuals with mental illness to be mindful in their service and practice! So great also for our older generation and our new generation who will be working together to help raise up another generation! Mental wellness is so important - I hope more people will be able to honor their vessels by learning this/allowing themselves to maybe consider it, and hopefully not neglect it! Much love, appreciation and peace to you wonderful people!

Is there a video where you can be normal, and still have it. Through out my life I listen to family saying : Everybody goes through tough times, I am selfish, that its easy, ignore it. I always was in pain physically and mentally, since I havent been treated, it took a big toll on my life, I had lil friends because I am naive and always end up getting hurt, same goes as far as relationships. I am getting help finally, but It is hard, and if i could write a story and share i would, but again its hard to make attempts, I would speak but i stutter, repeat, get distracted and or forget what i was saying.

I have the problem of Severe Anxiety and Depression and I have Strong Protanopia (Red/Green colorblindess) and all and I mean all of that video describes me unfortionetly. But there's nothing I can really do about it. I'm up at night because I have night terrors, and I've seen a therapist and he said "you are your own worse enemy" and I don't want meds. That's the last thing I want is meds. I just want to feel accomplished

Over all I like this video but I have to disagree with the idea that mentally ill people don't like to talk about their mental illness. I have Schizoaffective disorder and big part of my recovery includes talking to my husband, sisters and friends about my illness. I would suffer from pent up emotions if I didn't do this. Because I am open to my friends, I can call them when I'm in a crisis and they are prepared to help me in an appropriate way.
