I relate to all of those. Literally *everyone* will say that about me regarding "living in the past" & "excessively seeking reassurance"...

It's difficult when you've spent nearly 30 years trying to make _other_ people happy & impress them, but yet you have no idea how to make _yourself_ happy. 💔

I am currently recovering from a tough journey of depression and suicidal tendencies. Worst thing is that I had to fight alone without help from my parents because they didn't believe me. It has been a very enlightening experience nonetheless and I have a new perspective of life. I'm thankful for everything I have and especially to you guys who made me realise in the first place that my mental health was deteriorating and needed attention. Thank you for making me realise that a single stupid decision to end all the pain is actually the worst thing to do, not just to myself but to those out there who still care no matter what my inner demons say.

P.S:- One of my favourite actors committed suicide yesterday and it's horrifying to think how close I was to the same situation. The whole country is mourning for him now. Just wanted to say that if anyone reading this has the same thoughts, don't do it. "Your life isn't yours. Keep your hands off it" ~ Sherlock Holmes

P.P.S:- You have probably seen this comment on psych2go's pinned comment. I posted the same thing here too somost people can read this. Remember, someone is out there who will be broken forever if they know of your death. Someone out there loves you more than you could ever imagine

Last week was a TOUGH week for me, but I have been learning to put my mental health first before anything else! I have found that physically asking myself “am I happy” usually helps me think about things better.

I'm watching 4 videos straight on Psych2go now... I'm feeling overwhelmed by life right now... Thank you for making such a great Channel. I don't feel alone when I'm here scrolling through comments of thousands of people going through the same situation as mine.

I finally am able to leave the past behind. I had a group of friends that I fell out with. I apologized to them years ago, but could never forgive myself. Every time a “memory” of them popped up in my camera roll, it was so depressing. I finally came to terms with the past. I am a different person then who I was and I can no longer torment myself for what happened. Now I can look back at old pictures and smile.
