How to fix Genshin Impact Not launching issues on PC (Windows 10/8/7)

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play, open-world action role-playing gacha video game from miHoYo. The title is now available on a variety of platforms, including mobile devices. If you are on PC, and are running into the Genshin Impact no launching issue, here’s how you can fix it.

1. Check if your antivirus or firewall software was interfering this the launch

This is mostly caused by some anti-virus software or firewall interfering with the launch. You can fix this, by adding the game to its exclusions/exceptions folder.

This is a simple thing, and you can easily find it in the support sections of your anti-virus website.

2. Update the Graphics Card

Make sure you are on the latest GPU drivers as well, as those could be in need of an update.

Visit the official website of your graphics card manufacturer and see if a new driver is available.

3. To play the game on PC, you need the following specifications.

I have a windows 10 and tried to launch the game but it does not open. whenever I click the launch thing, the menu disappears for a few seconds before it appears again, idk what to do-

edit: no guys, sadly i did not find a solution. but!!! i play it on my ipad or iphone so it's all good, even if it lags a bit and crashes a few times, , hope this helps ꉂ(ˊᗜˋ*)♡

Sometimes you just need to restart tho, but we do have antivirus in our pc so I guess thats tge cause

i click launch, and it brings me back to the home screen. ive literally tried almost anything. has anyone else has this exact issue, and if so, how did you fix it?

Had to uninstall my game because a file was missing and wouldn't fix itself, Ive been trying to reinstall it. I reinstall the launcher and it just wont open the launcher to reinstall the rest of the game. Genshin impact is the only game ive ever had problems with, and the problems just kepp keep keep coming, like none stop. Considered quitting but I absolutely adore the characters, lore etc. I also love playing with my friends so ugh.

does anyone else have a problem where it will start loading the path way but then immedietly freezes but you can still hear the music?

For me, my problem is that it shows the "Hoyoverse" loading screen when I press launch, but immediately just closes out of the screen and goes back to the main page (the one you get when you first open the app). I was wondering if any of these will actually help with my problem? I'm a bit scared to do all of the antivirus things, so If you know please do tell. :)

I have a windows 7 shitty laptop when i try to launch the game it shows a black screen and a few secs later it will mostly crash. Anyone give me advices to fix this problem?

I launch the launcher, click the launch button, doesnt do anything and then proceeds to take me back to the launcher. I've tried everything you can think of. Trust me. Wiped my computer, reinstalled, literally everything. I have gone through the whole page on the genshin forums for how to fix it and it still doesnt work. Launching it from the file location doesn't do anything. Please help.

i downloaded the new 3.0 update and it lets me launch the game after maintenance and even log-in, but when i click the door i see all the elements load except for geo, and like 5 seconds after it freezes and my cursor turns into a blue loading circle and it stops responding. I tried verifying the files 3 times, uninstalling the game and re-installing it, and i even installed the latest version of windows 11 but it still crashes at the exact same point into loading the game. I don't know what to do
