It’s so hard to build characters to be powerful as shit when you don’t have the 5* weapon or artifacts that were made for certain elements/characters. I need people to start saying what’s the best 4* weapon and artifact for them, it’ll help a lot

Gacha Gamer: Elemental reactions are important

In short :

Step one : Upgrade your main Team.

Step 2 : Make the Artifacts " connect " with the Character. ( I have a 20% higher reload for Xianglings Ulti because her Ulti is really useful )

Step 3 : Good weapons that also " connect " with the Character AND make good damage.

Step 4 : Try fighting some mobs and try different things ( weapons, artifacts ...) and look how much the damage changes.

Step 5 : Level.

(Bonus step)

Step 6 : Money.

the color of the monster name is an indicator, when your character level is more than 10 levels higher than the world monster the name of the monster appears in Green, or easy kill. i believe it will also give less Mora and exp per kill. and when the level of the momster is more than 10 levels higher than you, meaning if you enter a domain or dungeon for lvl 70 when you just ascended and is still level 60/70.. the monster name will be in RED, and you will find yourself having a hard time.. as you will crit less, and take more dmg from them.

Summary: DUH, simply level all your characters and have 20 sets of artifacts with all dps stats, it's that simple!

There is a crucial mistake in what you say about elemental reactions. Vaporize and Melt are not like the rest of the reactions. They can crit, and they not only scale with level and elemental mastery, they also scale with ATK.
