For fellow RPi 5 Users, RealVNC software isn't compatible with the new VNC technology(wayland) implemented in RPi5 OS, which is the reason for the " unable to connect to vnc server using your chosen security setting " error, you need to use another VNC software

Hi, can you help me a bit, I have tested different versions of the imager, waited for 30 minutes each, and never find their ip address. Is it because the imager automatically hashes the passwords?

If your Raspberri Pi not connecting to Wifi Network: The 'Wireless LAN' means the same thing as your wifi network. Just enter its name and its password and it should connect after maybe a min or two.

Either upgrade VNC Server to a more recent version from RealVNC, or
select a weaker level of encryption.
