i have a question Why you select a raspberry pi OS 32 bit if you have a raspberry pi 4 that supports a OS 64 bits ?

I'm confused, I was looking everywhere to download Raspbian but there's only Debian on the Raspberry Pi Imager. Are the two names synonymous?

In the event ya see this I was hoping for help. The waste basket on mine is missing. I was emptying it out and it just disappeared. I've tried resetting the layout of the desktop but it's not there.
I saw somewhere that I should probably reload my OS but I'd rather try to save that as a last resort
