This is super. Wish I saw it before doing mine. I did everything and was bolting down the decking boards, only to find uneven joists and it looked horrible. I have taken the boards out will redo the joists by using shims on each and then cutting the bottom of the joists. Thank you for sharing- I was puzzled.

Thanks may friend I learned a lot!!!!. Could you not of put a piece of wood at the bottom. Leveled it on the gravel, then brought your joists down to it . ?

Very nice solution and lots of practical tips. Would you have any ideas on how to finish the plywood floor of a shed? Friends had one built and can't decide what to do with it. One side is used for storing a lawnmower, snow blower and motorcycle and the other side will be a small workshop with a bench.
