Hello, my wife and I got up this morning and saw your video on how to build a shed ramp. So we wrote a list of the material needed and went shopping. Even with the high cost of lumber we only spent a little over 200.00 dollars. We started the project at 1:00 pm and at 3:00 pm it was completed and very, very sturdy. Great video. Using your design, I trimmed the top of my shed's double doors with an archway. My only complaint is that you didn't do a video series about building the shed. :-)

What size is your initial piece of lumber....2X10 p.t., 2X12 p.t.? And how could I make your ramp stronger ...to support more weight like a car....floor jousts cut to match ramp???

Seems strange putting pressure treated boards right on dirt. I built my shed on concrete pads and I’d probably do the same for the ramp. Maybe a deep gravel bed at the very least.

What size? a 2x8 or 2x10....how did you figure the height of the board to attach the ramp.
