Would only work if the concrete walk is also level. Better to scribe off the concrete at your 7 1/4" starting point.

The tip end touching the concrete surely won't last?

I think your ramp is too short. ADA requires a handicap ramp to not exceed a fall of 1" per foot. So if your height difference from porch to sidewalk is 14", then your ramp will be 14' long. Where the ramp turns should be 5'x'5' clear space. The ramp has to have 36" clear width.

Are you just nailing that into the 4x4? IF so, isn't the nails all that is supporting the weight?

Why did it take so long to find this simple instruction?

I have an idea because im about to make a small ramp for my mothers front porch, I wonder if i can run a string line for my mock up ramp angle and mark my boards based on my string line reading. Anyone ever thought of this?

shouldn't all those structural pieces be pressure treated since most of them contact the ground?

On your long bottom angle that is sitting on the ground, how long was the piece you cut off? How did you figure that out?

Yeah, but your other stringer on the right side is Landing directly on grass are you gonna throw a pad underneath the other stringer.
It is for a wheelchair. We don’t want that leg sinking into the mud. Once it rains and your whole ramp will be on a wonky angle.

I don’t understand where he got the 7 1/4 from. Everything else is good

So frustrating, I can see where the 7 1/4 against the riser comes in, but then you say 7 1/4 at the backside and then you cut a line but, I don’t get it. I don’t know what you’re talking about, if you come up 7 1/4 you’re not gonna be at the corner.

Just eyeballing, seems like a steep slope, over a foot in only 8 feet? Unless you're going for a soapbox derby ramp, then nevermind....
