Warning: old Unity version, and I am using paid plugins (ShaderForge, which you should absolutely buy someday anyway, and BetterTrails, which is my favorite trails plugin).

This fourth episode explains the creation of a simple hit effect, with a basic glow, shockwave, shape and sparks system.

i can't believe i didn't run into your channel before, im been trying to get into VFX for my games for a long time and i couldn't find good tutorials for hit effects before, i hope you keep making tutorials, subscribed!

Really awesome content! I've been learning shaders and VFX for realtime over the past handful of months for my game, and there's just not a lot of information out there. Thanks for putting these together; I wasn't integrating my custom meshes and shaders with Shuriken in a meaningful way until I got a peek at your workflow. Looking forward to more advanced breakdowns in the future!

wow. this is some high quality stuff. i just watched all of your league of legends custom skin videos. and it just made my dream of seeing something like atlantean or deep sea zyra in the game. it would be soo cool if she used corals. and underwater plants. keep up the good work ^^

I am a very very beginner and I never used Photoshop neither download or had installed on my computer but is there a free version? I cannot find one...Can anybody help? Thanks

I've been loving your tutorials! Could you perhaps make some that focuses on how to make good textures in the future? Most of the ones around don't seem to deal with VFX
