Great for prototyping! In the past, I've always made my own art but as I got older I realized there isn't much time in life so it's nice to be able to use assets to either learn or as filler until you prepare your own creations to replace the prototype art. This allows you to focus on where ever your current passion/desire is. I often go in cycles, so I will work on: Research and then code and once I've roughed out the game I do the art but it's nice if I have a day where I can't do art for whatever reason and have something to help getting a functioning game so I can start getting feedback about the game I am creating. What do I like? What do I want to add or change? etc. Thanks Unity for making the ability to make games a space where people of all talents and interests and skill levels can find a place and rapidly learn, grow and improve. I'm also glad for my upbringing with the VIC-20 computer and Commodore 64 as it allows me to really appreciate the tools we have nowadays. My son doesn't realize how good he has got it but I'm sure as technology advances he'll think the same when his child has newer tools to make their own creations/art/games.

My favourite is the disolve one. I made a disolve shader but it looked dull without any particles. The particle pack one is so cool

Brilliant, but it's kinda hard to customize those.
I wish Shuriken or the prefab system had a mechanism to expose custom properties for end users like substance.
