The moral of the story is live your life don't wait for things to get better. TIME does not wait for anyone

I started properly last year at the age of 40 and enjoying every moment. Recently quit my job, moved out of UK, spending summer in Europe and off to SE Asia for the whole winter. It's a fantastic feeling! ❤

Very true. The real fortune of life is not the money but our youth 100%

Love this channel.
At 31 I can get a lot of wisdom from every person and couple you have interviewed

Backpacking is the best experiences I've ever done in my life. Early 40s now and I feel too old to do it anymore, but I highly recommend anyone reading this to do it, experience it!!

My man is cool, calm and collected. While he lets his lady express Herself They seem to compliment each other well. I should be so lucky❤

Exactly.... people need to rethink the whole concept of retirement. Take sabbaticals during your career. Make it happen while you're still young & healthy enough to enjoy it. Life is short...take time to step back for awhile

Why the sad face and sad music? If you get to that age with your biggest regret being that you didn’t backpack when you were younger then you’ve had a bloody good life.

I learned this from the fact that none if my family have gotten to enjoy their retirement years. They all had health go down just after retiring or didnt even make it to retiring before health got so bad they couldn't work and they passed on.

I work full time but 10 hiur shifts. I get 3 day weekends. Im poor. Ill always be poor but I at least go where I can afford to go while Im young. Ill never have the money to retire either way.

That's true, and you can take nicer pictures of yourself when you are young.

If there is something you really want to do but you think you can't afford it, you just need to revisualize it. "How can I have what I want without spending so much money?" -it's a fun game. You become very creative which is fun in itself.

Most people, especially Americans, learn that very late in life. So, they end up remaining in their comfort zone until death, still saying, I'll do it someday when the time is right!
I started traveling the world in my early twenties, 1970's. I stopped I'm my 60's, just before the lockdowns, because, it wasn't as much fun anymore, to many restrictions, greedy vendors, over charging taxi drivers, crowded planes, tourist areas. So waiting, really has a lot of drawbacks!

You have a very good channel, keep it up, hell of a lot better to other reels that's rubbish, excuse my language but it's a fact, more to come, God bless you

I did the "backack stuff" all through the 1970s. I am now 69 and will NEVER regret my choice. I have the most amazing memories and I understand the world and cultures.
