I agree with everything he says except the part about having kids. The whole "there's nothing more important in life that a parent's love" is kinda bs, and can be hurtful to people who either weren't able to have children, or who had less than loving parents. Having kids shouldn't be touted as a "must do" for everyone.

Then again, I'm at the age where I don't give a shit whether people think that or not 😆

It’s really nice to see all these “older” people really enjoying life. You think as a younger person that when you get into your 60s and 70s it’s more of a sad time. But seeing all these retirees feeling young and energized gives me hope :)

I'm 50. Is the best time in my life and I think it's just gonna get better. Here's the thing when you get older you stop giving a shit about what people think about you. And once you start doing that life opens up with so many opportunities. Keep your head up young people, it's gonna get better if you do the work.

Very true what he says about friends, there’s times when you go through major transitions in life and the people you thought were friends disappeared. I value my friends massively now, 53 and I’ve learned how to also be a good friend and regret the times when I wasn’t a good friend to others. Wisdom is precious, people are all that matters.
