Here on the west coast it’s hard to find a charger on the weekends or holidays. We need more super chargers before he opens them up to other companies.

If EVs are ever to become mainstream charging stations must become as generic and vehicle independent as gasoline stations are now.

Where I travel in the mid-west (USA), there are always open charger spots. I have no problem with other brand EVs using Tesla Superchargers if they help fund more chargers.

If you believe in Tesla's mission statement, then you must agree to open up the charging network.

It's short term pain for long term gain, doesn't mean I'm looking forward to the pain.

Tesla should partner with WaWa, 7 Eleven, or other Convenience Stores to have the SuperChargers.

Can I get a CCS adapter for my Tesla please?

Everyone who can install and use a home charger should. Not only is it cheaper for you, it helps keep stalls open for others.

Putting in a home charger was something I did before taking delivery of my model 3. And I know many folks live in places where they can’t do that - so I try to not use the SuperCharger system unless I’m on a road trip somewhere.

I think this will annoy many Tesla owners, but it’s ultimately for the best for the EV marketplace. It’s also proof that Elon meant it when he said Tesla’s goal is to create sustainable transport, and I was always confused as to why he would make superchargers a Tesla-only thing if his goal is sustainable transport. Now, the game has changed

What about those electric cars that don’t support super fast speed charging? Are those gonna sit there for hrs to fully charge while Teslas wait?

The new supercharger factory just opened in China and they will be expanding the network much more quickly than in the past.

As a Chevy Bolt owner, I'm not supporting Elon's decision. People bought Tesla's partly for their propreity super charging infrastructure. This seems like a slap in the face to the Tesla owners who already wait in long lines to charge in some locations. However as long as Tesla continues to build more super chargers, this could work. It would give Tesla more revenue and thus more and more super chargers could be built.

I can see gas stations and small parking lots converted into Tesla Supercharging Destinations; with a food mart, bathroom, Accesories, and all of the things we’re use to at gas stations… but all owned and operated by Tesla.
Sounds like the ultimate “Tesla Store”

as an owner, it concerns me, but as an investor, I welcome the revenue which will lead to the ability to open yet more locations.. hopefully many of which will be hopefully be solar supported.

As a MY owner, I'm okay with sharing as long as there are enough available chargers. Ideally, we should not have to wait; a charging station should always be available. This of course is not a perfect world we live in, so I suppose there will continue to be times where folks will have to be patient. From what I've read the number of Tesla Super Chargers are increasing nationwide in an effort to improve customer service. Hopefully, this will solve the problem of too many cars and not enough charging stations.

I recently drove my first cross country trip, charging was longer and more inconvenient than the navigation says. More work is needed on the network before opening it up to others.

Don't up Superchargers to other vehicles, until way many more Superchargers can be built. But better yet, build more Service Centers!

Luckily, where I live in CA we don’t have problems finding open super chargers. However, since it could become a problem, Tesla needs to manufacture a Tesla to CCS adapter so Tesla owners can use other charging networks, too.

Could see high conversion of non-Tesla drivers to Tesla drivers when they find in app real time status of chargers like Tesla has in car. Consistently well maintained can also polish the brand.
