You failed to mention a few things that make EV cars so great…

1) Cold climates. Why trust the same diesel truck that’s been working for 30 years when you could buy a Tesla and pray it starts in -30 degree weather?

2) Software updates. The government is great. They should know and control everything, including our vehicles. How great is it that they can control every functionality of our personal property?

3) Road trips. Don’t you love spending half an hour recharging your electric vehicle, even when you can’t find an available charging station in a rural area?

4) Sound. What even is a car enthusiast? Who the hell wants to listen to a 500 horsepower V8 scream to the heavens? That quiet electric tone matches perfectly with flip flops and California B.S.

5) Build quality. Who cares if doors line up, headliners come unstitched, dash pieces don’t fit together, or the windshield isn’t even secured to the car? It’s only a $70, 000 vehicle.

I could go on and on, but I rest my case.

I feel like a car is based on it hardware more than its software.
Software like 10 percent of the experience still a lot but it just means it wasn't made right the first time
