If you are using a plane instead of a line, turn up the Thickness Outer to prevent the edges from being seen even though the cloth is covering it.

Hello! Very nice straight forward tutorials, however when I add extrusion points to my curve it starts bunching up during the cloth sim. I suppose the only thing that's different from yours is that both ends of the wire are pinned to a parented object.
